I work with people who are totally ready to learn how to quilt but just don’t know where to start.  I help them learn the fundamentals of sewing, while making it feel like they’re enjoying a girls’ night in.

I can’t tell you how many times a woman I’ve worked with has started a conversation with “I wish I knew how to sew!  How do all these old ladies just KNOW?!  Is it a skillset that just falls into your lap one day?  Yup.  Sewing and an AARP card.”  LOL ok, maybe not that last part.  But you get where I’m going with this.I’ve helped 1700+ newbie crafters figure out how to thread a needle, baste a stitch, and even tune up their sewing machine motors.  I’ve been featured on Millie’s Baseside Chats and been referred to as “a milspouse to watch in 2020.”

And when I’m not sewing and recording podcast episodes, I can be found hiding from my kids, eating a chocolate bar in a closet.  Who’s idea was it to have 3 kids under the age of 7 anyway?!

If you’re dying to know, here are 3 things you don’t know about me:

• I’m a military spouse who has lived in 6 states over the last 9 years
• I’m like a human swiss army knife. I can build a website, change a tire, and organize a 5 figure fundraiser without smearing my eyeliner
• When I need to destress, I check into a hotel down the street, pig out on Oreos, and binge watch Shonda Rhimes dramas.
