The thing I love the most about Susan Ache’s book, Sampler Spree, is that it’s an amazing skill builder.  Working through this book steadily and with intention will make you a better, more knowledgable quilter, hands down.  But it’s those words, Steadily and With Intention, that can be the tricky part.  Which is why I’ve chosen to host a slow along for this book.

What’s a slow along?  It’s just like what it sounds.  It’s a sew along, that’s slow.  This book has over 100 blocks in it.  And we’re going to do them all.  But we are only going to do 4 blocks at a time.  This gives you the time to complete the blocks, stay on course, catch up when you fall behind, and truly learn new skills.
